In Year 1, we will create a Steering Committee to lead the KYTN (consisting of at least partners who developed this proposal as well as youth and other partners from local project communities), refine the KYTN Framework, finalize procedures for local area resource mapping, and identify and prepare KYTN Councils in each target community.

Then, in Year 2, we will focus piloting the KYTN Framework by establishing a KYTN Council in 1-2 target communities and continue to refine the KYTN Framework.

Finally, in Years 3-5, we will support 4-5 (for a total of 6) additional underserved rural and urban communities to establish KYTN Councils and prepare for sustainability of the project.

Throughout the project, we will continually collect and analyze data to evaluate and refine the project. The KYTNs will also focus on supporting communities and local schools and organizations to adopt data driven and evidence-based practices.
